A New Dead Sea Scroll in Stone
(Gabriel's Revelation)

"Prince of Princes ... In three days you shall live: I Gabriel, command you." ~ Stone Dead Sea Scroll, 80th line

According to various articles a compelling new 'Dead Sea Scroll on Stone' has been brought forth which has relevant information which should be of interest to the topic of this text. In LDS doctrine it is understood that there is an ordinance of resurrection. Here seems to be a stone writing which would make it Gabriel who we know as Noah to be he who it was that would raise or command Jesus to resurrection in and by that authority from God. The text also has reference to two different concepts of the Messiah, one is the Messiah son of David who would 'return' and be involved in 'military victory', making his enemies 'a footstool'. And the other is Messiah son of Joseph (Ephraim) whose mission involves suffering, death and raising from the dead, which Jesus Christ did do. That these two concepts concerns but one Messiah and the two different aspects of his two comings ought to be understood by all those who know there to be but one Messiah. The stone predections also imply a belief in the 'virgin birth'.

Now in truth various positions are being selected 'perhaps' per one's own educated and philosophical skew. One would hardly promote a 'new model of the Messiah' if one was fixed in any such old model. It is sad that scholarship is not of a purely objective posture. One reads 'Messiah son of Joseph' into the text another gives a translation which totally 'ignores' any such implications which would upset the norm of the status quo. Whether this stone scroll will ever be properly presented to the public only merits a watchful eye as we every day folk must wait and rely of the select few and just what they perhaps wish to see or not to see in it; one perhaps looking for traces and exploring lines and impression which the other would rather wish to ignore or perhaps even attempt to smooth out of sight over the duration of the effects of time and handling.

Yet it would be nice if such a 'B.C.' prophetic prediction were to be substantiated which would set things straight, or at least reveal new enlighting perspectives which the old schools of religious ivory towers do work so hard to dispell, erase and even keep from coming before their 'informed' public view. Yes, perhaps one day, perhaps one day when the vision of all is published to the world and the true perspectives of the plates of brass as kept by the hands of the descendants of Joseph are revealed.
