128. Taken From Judah ~ Given to Ephraim

"And now his disciples came to him, and Jesus said unto them, Marvel ye at the words of the parable which I spake unto them? Verily, I say unto you, I am the stone, and those wicked ones reject me. I am the head of the corner. These Jews shall fall upon me, and shall be broken. And the kingdom of God shall be taken from them, and shall be given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof; (meaning the Gentiles.) Wherefore, on whomsoever this stone shall fall, it shall grind him to powder. And when the Lord therefore of the vineyard cometh, he will destroy those miserable, wicked men, and will let again his vineyard unto other husbandmen, even in the last days, who shall render him the fruits in their seasons. And then understood they the parable which he spake unto them, that the Gentiles should be destroyed also, when the Lord should descend out of heaven to reign in his vineyard, which is the earth and the inhabitants thereof." ~ JST Matthew 21:50-56

The Jews consider that they are all of Israel that remains. This is NOT SO, for unto Ephraim in the last days is the kingdom restored and it is they of the remnant of Ephraim found amid the Gentile nation to whom the kindom is then given to render the fruits of the fullness of times in their seasons. And then will the promises of Abraham be given to every nation kindred tongue and people via the Ephraim bestowal as Ephraim and his companions. And Ephraim's companions be they who come unto Christ and through him are to be counted as the sons of Israel. And then will Christ become the Lord of Ephraim, the latter day kingdom, even Messiah ben Ephraim. And the first will be last and they that were last will be first in the kingdom. And of those Gentiles who reject his kingdom and do not become one with Israel, they shall be destoryed in that day of his coming. And his kingdom which was prepared to recieve him will recieve him as the New Jerusalem in America is theirs and their Lord David ben Ephraim will reign over them, even Jesus Christ who is the same as Jehovah in that great Millennial day.

The Spirit of God

The Spirit of God like a fire is burning!
The latter-day glory begins to come forth;
The visions and blessings of old are returning,
And angels are coming to visit the earth.
We'll sing and we'll shout with the armies of heaven,
Hosanna, hosanna to God and the Lamb!
Let glory to them in the highest be given,
Henceforth and forever, Amen and amen!
The Lord is extending the Saints' understanding,
Restoring their judges and all as at first.
The knowledge and power of God are expanding;
The veil o'er the earth is beginning to burst.
We'll sing and we'll shout with the armies of heaven,
Hosanna, hosanna to God and the Lamb!
Let glory to them in the highest be given,
Henceforth and forever, Amen and amen!

We'll call in our solemn assemblies in spirit,
To spread forth the kingdom of heaven abroad,
That we through our faith may begin to inherit
The visions and blessings and glories of God.
We'll sing and we'll shout with the armies of heaven,
Hosanna, hosanna to God and the Lamb!
Let glory to them in the highest be given,
Henceforth and forever, Amen and amen!

How blessed the day when the lamb and the lion
Shall lie down together without any ire,
And Ephraim be crowned with his blessing in Zion,
As Jesus descends with his chariot of fire!
We'll sing and we'll shout with the armies of heaven,
Hosanna, hosanna to God and the Lamb!

This LDS Hymn catches the spirit of that which JST Matthew 21:50-56 does speak of, that is the kingdom of the latter days cominig by way of Joseph in Ephraim, as it was and is in Joseph that the blessings remained (D&C 27:10).
