"And behold, all things have their likeness, and all things are created and made to bear record of me, both things which are temporal, and things which are spiritual; things which are in the heavens above, and things which are on the earth, and things which are in the earth, and things which are under the earth, both above and beneath: all things bear record of me." ~ Moses 6:63

If indeed all things both temporal and spiritual and all things that are do bear record of God, that is the Lord God Jehovah or Jesus Christ, then all such pieces do fit in him and there there is nothing which does not bear record of him. Thus if there is a Messiah ben Joseph then in that it does bear record of him and to none other Messiah. It all fits and every link does sound true in and of him. All the prophets do testify of him (Jacob 7:11), the whole of the Law of Moses points to him in all its performances and ordinances (Jacob 4:5, Galatians 3:24, Jarom 1:11, 2 Nephi 11:4), indeed 'all things' from the beginning of the world have been given typifying of him even all of creation does bear him witness (Alma 30:41 & 44). And though scripture may be likened unto ourselves, it ought to be first and foremost seen to speak, testify and bear record of him. Thus when we read such as the fourth vision of Zechariah in the 3^rd chapter of the book of Zechariah, though the Jews see their contemporay priest named Joshua, we who do look to Christ first in all things ought to see Jesus as the Jehoshua being spoken of and of his mission from the beginning, even before the earth was such as when the war in heaven was so resolved by the casting out of Satan, and Our Father in Heaven so determining and ruling between Satan and Jesus(Jehoshua) there.

Yes, all scripture ought to be understood to first and foremost have as its purpose to so witness of him. And when and if read in such a perspective, Christ the Lord God Jehovah will be so seen in all that is so stated in both the scriptures of the Old and New Testament, even as he is throughout the more modern scriptures of the Book of Mormon, Doctrine and Covenants and the Pearl of Great Price. And even when we understand that is was the worship of our God that from the very beginning did so define religion, we may then so presume to see even in the world's corruptions of the worship of God those threads which do but relate back to and originate in him though they are become mingled with lies and the precepts of the devil. And indeed we may search the scriptures for in them we think we have eternal life, and they are they which do so testify of him (John 5:39).

A 'false negative' would be a proof that Jesus could not be the Messiah even such as Messiah ben Joseph. Some state that Jesus could not be Messiah ben Joseph because he is Messiah ben David instead. This exclusion of Jesus as Messiah ben Joseph by virtue of being Messiah ben David is a false negative which does not ring true. As in that so set out by the Four Faces of Christ in the previous section, there is more than just one facet of Jesus Christ than just the Lion of Judah. And being the Lion of Judah does not preclude Jesus Christ being preceived as being any of the other three of that multi-dimentional view of the Christ. Jesus not only can be Messiah ben David/Judah, but he can also be Messiah ben Joseph/Ephraim, as well as being the very Son of God, the Son of Man and that son of Righteousness and rebirth of the the Spirit, the Eagle birth of the Holy Ghost.
