There does seem to be a distinct relationship between Jesus Christ and Joseph of Egypt. The one that this text is built upon is that of Jesus Christ, Jehovah come in the flesh, is the legal heir of Ephraim as to the earth Patriarchal Birthright that includes the right of the Patriarchal descent of the priesthood power after the order of the fathers from Adam to Joseph of Egypt, and from said Joseph by way of his son Ephraim thru David unto Jesus born of Mary. Various items have built such evidences. Now in consideration of the Millennial Day lands of inheritances this such relationship is to be further explored and intimated.

There are two such grand land inheritences of Joseph in respect to the Millenial Day and the Reign of Jesus Christ/Jehovah as King David of the Millenial Thocracy under the LORD our KING. Breifly stated, there is that in the Holy Land of the lands of Jerusalem as loosely detailed in Ezekiel chapter 48. And there this is the seemingly much grander inheritence of Joseph in respect to the Americas as first revealed in the Book of Mormon and further detailed by the prophet Joseph Smith Jr.

Though it was made clear and plain early in Joseph's life that he was the birthright son of Jacob, by the time of father Jacob's life, the time of the father's determining blessing, Joseph was the only worthy eldest son of Jacob left. Reuben had defiled his father's bed, and all his other older brothers had become complicit in selling their brother Joseph into slavery. This was certainly enough to have lost their right to any birthright blessing of the covenant, but there were also any number of other unworthy acts upon their part as well, some of which we know of, of Simion, Levi, and Judah.

Jacob had blessed Joseph's two sons, Ephraim and Manasseh. He had adopted them to stand in the place of Reuben and Simion, his eldest two sons, and made them equal sons, and therefore tribe members in the house of Egypt. While on the one hand this did give Joseph's seed a double share, as was the firstborn's right, Joseph's right. At the same time in a way it tended to leave Joseph's name out of the tribal count.

In the manner that Moses so initially set up the promise land divisions, Joseph's eldest son, Manasseh, ended up by obtaining two land shares. Each of which were large ones on either side of the Jordan. This was because Moses gave half the tribe of Manasseh a land inheritance with Reuben and Gad on the east side of the Jordan river even prior to the Children of Israel's entry into the land of promise. And that left the other half of the tribe of Manasseh to further inherit land on the west side of the river with the remaining nine tribes. That is considering that Levi obtained no such tribal land as such, but did inherit 48 cities with their surrounding land. Thus Levi was not really left out of obtaining a land share, it was just that Levi was spread out amoung all of Israel as Israel's ministering priesthood members.

Yet, after the full scattering of all of Israel among the nations of the earth, when Israel was to be gathered again, the land assignments for the Millenial Day in the land of promise would then be different from how they anciently set out. The two maps of how that division of those land changes would be is illustrated below:

Now neither map can really claim to be exact. Israel's ancient borders did vary even from what was prescibed in their original settings in the Bible text, which it self is variously read and lined out, to what adjustments later occured such as Judah's failure to remove the Philistines completely, to Benjamin's lands lost to Judah of Jerusalem that once were Benjamin's, etc. But the design difference between ancient Israel and Ezekiel's prescribe Millenniam Day arrangement is very pronounced and clearly written and set out. But even then the exact land reaches may differ.

One significant difference is that the land of the tribe of Judah is no longer to be that of Jerusalem's regions. That has been given over to the Levite Priests, the Levites and Levite 'workers' according to Ezekiel's plan. It also leaves lands for the Princes not shown at the left but included in Ezekiel's provisions. That is those of the Sarim as would be the representative Princes of Judges and Rulers of such as the Sanhedrin, the Law Govenors of Israel and/or the Goverment representative officials. The suggested map at the right of this Holy Portion of the Temple, Jerusalem, the Levites, the Priests and Workers and the Princes does also vary depending on who reads the references and who so constructs the mapping of what they have seemed to have read.

In terms of the Millennial arrangement Joseph was to have two portions (Eze. 47:13), that being unto Manasseh and Ephraim (Eze. 48:5-6). And it is that Ephraim's assigned portion, upon many mappings, suggest that Ephraim's land share falls about and includes the historical Galilee lands. They likely including Nazareth where Jesus was raised. This does seem to be perhaps of some coincidence in that Galilee is that of the historical neighborhood of Jesus' living during his life time. And this would raise the question of the association between Jesus and Ephraim along the lines of Jesus being also of the tribe of Ephraim, that is Messiah ben Joseph/Ephraim.

But that land setting is in the future and some like to extend that division of the Millennial lands of Israel in the Eastern Hemisphere to include those promised to the Patriarchal Fathers which extends to what is come to be named Greater Israel as the map at the right attempts to suggest those boundaries to be. And that is that the eastern boundry extends to the Eurphrates and the western bound extends to the Great Sea and river of Egypt (Nile). Such maps as present the Greater Israel Borders do differ as well. Some are not so generous as to include the land all the way to the Nile, but to a nearer 'brook' that leaves out both the Sinai and such as Elait (Ezion-Geber) as well. And then others are more generoust in the north by including such as all of Syria. Whichever the case may be, the extending of the lands of Israel to be thus would seem to altar the land portions of each tribe somewhat except perhaps those of the Levites which would still include Jerusalem and likely Benjamin's share to include Bethlehem, the land of mother Rachel's death and burial.

Now when one considers that according to the Book of Mormon and modern revelation through the Prophets and Apostles of the Latter-day Church, that Joseph himself has basically the whole of the Western Hemisphere of the Americas given to him as being Joseph's land, that may seem somewhat disportionate. In terms of Jesus being Messiah ben Joseph of the descent from and of the house of Joseph it does seem to begin to fit. Jesus first comes to and appears at the Temple of New Jerusalem that will be built by those of the tribes of Joseph, Ephraim and Manasseh and their companions. That New Jerusalem temple has been considered to be that Temple to be built in the Center Stake of Zion, the City of New Jerusalem in Independence, Jackson County, Missouri.

The Ten Tribes when they are gathered are prophesied to first gather to that New Jerusalem to be blessed by the hand of Ephraim and no doubtedly by the hand of Christ as well, whether by deligation or by some personal presences as well. There the tribes of the kingdom of Ephraim (Israel) will wait in protection from the destrucions upon the wicked and that which will occur in the middle East and include the great war of Armageddon and when Jesus Christ will come upon the Mount of Olives to save and preserve Judah, Israel and her companions there at that time.

When all the destructive forces and the cleansing of the earth is ended, then the ten tribes and parts of the tribes of Ephraim and Manasseh, will travel to and join with Judah in the land of promise of the fathers, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, the land of Canaan. And the temple there will be built and the lands settled in their Millennial order.

Just when the other magnificent events of the Millennial Day will occur and in what sequence in relation to each other have been variously attempted to be established. No such exact attempt will be done here other than to mention a number of such events and what their inferences may be in relationship to the two governing captitals of the earth of the New Jerusalem of the Americas located at Independence and the Old rebuilt Jerusalem in the East of the land of Jerusalem there.

Jesus Christ will descend in glory at his Second Coming to the place of the New Jerusalem with the righteous. The City of Enoch will return and become a part of Zion, the land of the New Jerusalem in the Americas. It may be inferred that such a reunion may also occur in the East with the City and people of Melchizedek returning to be reunited there with the land of Salem, the Old Jerusalem in the land of Canaan, which is also that land of Zion there. Zion is any where that the pure in heart people of the Lord do come to assemble themselves.

Now in much of the proceedings, Jesus seems to be more affiliated with the land and events of the New Jerusalem, that is with the Land of Joseph. The original land of Adam was also in and about the land of Missouri at Adam-ondi Ahman. There will father Adam return with Jesus Christ and many other of the leading Priesthood members of the earth through time. Including will be the ancient apostles of the Lord. Even God the Father is said to be in attendance to formally accept the people of Christ according to the blessings of the atonement upon them to be accepted into the presence of the Father as a righteous people. Many such happenings are predicted. And many of those are to be associated with the Land of Joseph, the land shadowing with wings, that is North and South America. An ensign is lifted up upon the mountains and the trumpet hath been blown. In that time shall a present be brought unto the LORD of hosts of a people scattered ... to the place of the name of the LORD of hosts, the mount Zion. (Isaiah 18:1-7)

"For behold, this is a land which is choice above all other lands; wherefore he that doth possess it shall serve God or shall be swept off; for it is the everlasting decree of God. And it is not until the fulness of iniquity among the children of the land, that they are swept off.
"And this cometh unto you, O ye Gentiles, that ye may know the decrees of God—that ye may repent, and not continue in your iniquities until the fulness come, that ye may not bring down the fulness of the wrath of God upon you as the inhabitants of the land have hitherto done.
"Behold, this is a choice land, and whatsoever nation shall possess it shall be free from bondage, and from captivity, and from all other nations under heaven, if they will but serve the God of the land, who is Jesus Christ, who hath been manifested by the things which we have written." ~ Book of Mormon | Ether 2:10-12

Just who will remain to live through out the Millennium there has been of some speculation and spoken of variously. Yet the Patriarchal Fathers from Adam to Noah and their people, including those of Enoch seem to be associated with the lands of Joseph. So do those of father Lehi and Nephi and the righteous of those of the Book of Mormon Americas, including those of Ismael and Mulek. Since the Jaredites did also live upon that land, it would seem likely that those of the Jaredites who are to come forth in righteousness to live in the Millennium will also be there. All told, it would seem that there are plenty enough to fill the Americas, the lands of Zion there.

As to when the lands of the earth will become turned back together by the power of the Lord is not exactly known, only that it also will be done and the land will once again be one land and one Zion with its two twin capitals of the Old and New Jerusalems. Jesus Christ will rule and reign for a thousand years. The number of temples and the temple work will continue to increase and be complete until all who ever have lived upon the earth have had the opportunity for those such blessing to be fulfilled upon them.

Now according to Jesus being Messian ben Joseph and Messiah ben David, the associations of the Millennial Day has noting that can be seen to deny it. And it has many associations that would support it and even be evidence of it. The land of Joseph, so stated as such in the Book of Mormon and by modern prophecy to be the Americas, is also futher stated to be that land of the Lord Jesus Christ. And that all who do live upon it must worship him who it the God of that land, the land of Joseph. If they do not they will suffer to be destroyed from off of the land at the time of the destruction of the wicked in connection with the Lord's Second Coming and the great Millennial Day.

This correlation come before the earth's lands are turned back to be one land. Jesus the Lord has stated that this land of America is a Choice land above all other lands. He has stated and it is a part of scripture in the Book of Mormon that this land is the land of Joseph, the Last Great Patriarchal Father of the Patriarchal Order to live and through and by who the blessings of the father were preserved (D&C 27:10). From such as Father Adam, this has been God's land. It is the land that has been the choice land above all others upon which the Jaredites were destroyed fore not abidding by the law of the land, even as it were the curse of the land, that who so ever is to live and remain upon this land must be a righteous people, a people who worship and accept Jesus Christ to be their God.

And so the curse has remained upon the Lord's land, being the flood of Noah, the destruction of the Jaredites, the destruction of the Nephi society who once held Christ to be their God and did worship him but turned from him. It is the land which the Lord did bring those who were seeking him for their religious liberty to worship him according to the reformmation and such restored truths as the reading of the Bible did return to the common man. It is the land where the Gospel of Jesus Christ has been restore for the last time. And those who do not come unto tha Gospel and receive of Christ to be their God, under the direction of the Father; those who do rather choose the ways of wickedness and disbelief and follow after Satan; they will be destroyed and be removed from of the face of the land.

Now these associations of Joseph, Joseph's land, the land of New Jerusalem to be built by the seed of Joseph but the return of their Lord and King, Jesus Christ, who is so tightly associated with the sons and daughter of Joseph and Ephraim and Manasseh to call them him people; is it not this closeness of associated in that Jesus Christ is Messiah ben Joseph, Messiah ben Ephraim and even lineally Messiah ben David, they all being lineal through Jesse and then thence through Ephraim so as to be of the house of Joseph (D&C 113:4)?

"And that a New Jerusalem should be built up upon this land, unto the remnant of the seed of Joseph, for which things there has been a type.
"For as Joseph brought his father down into the land of Egypt, even so he died there; wherefore, the Lord brought a remnant of the seed of Joseph out of the land of Jerusalem, that he might be merciful unto the seed of Joseph that they should perish not, even as he was merciful unto the father of Joseph that he should perish not.
"Wherefore, the remnant of the house of Joseph shall be built upon this land; and it shall be a land of their inheritance; and they shall build up a holy city unto the Lord, like unto the Jerusalem of old; and they shall no more be confounded, until the end come when the earth shall pass away." ~ Book of Mormon | Ether 13:6-8

"And it shall come to pass that I will establish my people, O house of Israel.
"And behold, this people will I establish in this land, unto the fulfilling of the covenant which I made with your father Jacob; and it shall be a New Jerusalem. And the powers of heaven shall be in the midst of this people; yea, even I will be in the midst of you." ~ Book of Mormon | 3 Nephi 20:21-22

Now, here is a point of interest:

Jesus Christ is to be an Elias of God the Father's coming. We are told that the Lord Jesus Christ will suddenly come to appear in his temple, that being the temple of the City of New Jerusalem. It has also been established that Jehovah, who is the same as Jesus Christ, while he stood as the God of the Old Testament, did often speak in the stead of the Father as those he was the Father.
