67. Land of the Lord, our King

As pointed out in the Book of Mormon Commentary, the Land of Mulek, which was the name given to all the land north of the narrow neck of land litterally means, 'The Land of the King, or The Land of the Lord, our King' (Book of Mormon Commentary, Volume 7, page 101.). This is significant in that when Jesus Christ returns to earth to rule and reign as King, he will come to the grand meeting at Adam-ondi-Ahman and there will Adam give over to Christ the rule of the children of Adam for Christ to be their soverign King. And Christ shall rule and reign from this the center land of Zion the whole earth, the earth being turned back to form but one land as in the days before it was divided.

Mulek or in the Hebrew means 'King'. Just as 'Elimelech' meant God is King the name Mulek is a shortened form which means God or the Lord is King.

This relationship of the Land of Mulek being the Land of the King in references that while this land of America is 'Joseph's Land, it is also the Land of the King, meaning the King Messiah. That is, this land is JEHOVAH's Land. And it further points to the fact that Jesus was by legal inheritance, the seed of Ephraim the son of Joseph, thus it is Joseph's and Jesus' land which is the same thing.

Jesus Christ is the God of this land (Ether 2:12). He did preserve this to be His Land and provided that only those who would serve Him, the God of this land, would be permitted to dwell here as an everlasting land of inheritance. This land was given unto Joseph as seen by Ether the Jaredite prophet (Ether 13:2-). And it would be the land of Zion, the land of the New Jerusalem from where Jesus Christ as King David of the Millennium would rule from, ruling from the Land of Joseph as the land of Joseph's rightful King.

" ... a New Jerusalem should be built upon this land, unto the remnant of the seed of Joseph ... the remnant of the house of Joseph shall be built upon this land; and it shall be a land of their inheritance; and they shall build up a holy city unto the Lord, like unto the Jerusalem of old; ... " ~ Ether 13:6 & 8

Now who is the holy city, the city like unto the Jerusalem of old, the New Jerusalem to be built unto? Is it to be built unto the Lord or is it to be built unto the seed of Joseph? Or is the Lord the seed of Joseph, they being one and the same? This brings us back to the consideration of D&C 113 descussed in item #__. Is Jesus Christ the same as the seed of Joseph, the seed of Jesse? Is it one and the same? The answer seems to be yes.

Through the administration of the restored Chruch of Jesus Christ, the seed of Ephraim would become the saviors of men in fulfilling of the Everlasting Covenant, the Promises of the Fathers, the Covenant of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, which did remain through Joseph and through his sons, the primary responsibility and blessing being upon the head of Ephraim. Thus it is that through the seed of Ephraim is the nations of the Earth to be blessed. That seed being both singular in Christ and plural in the sons of Ephraim upon whose shoulders the Kingdom of God is rolling forth into all the world today.

Now what does this have to do with Jesus being Messiah ben Joseph? Well, it must be remembered and considered that the land of the Americas was given to be the promised land of Joseph and his descendants forevermore. Now if Jesus is to rule the Land of Joseph, of what right does he have to rule over the Land of Joseph but that He is Joseph's rightful heir?
