90. Parallels With Heaven
Now in the preexistence as in life, there are many parallels which set out
Judah's associate with Lucifer just as there are many parallels which associate
the life of Joseph with Jehovah/Jesus the rightful heir
of the covenant as was Jehovah.
He that denied Christ was Judah in life as it was the false son Lucifer in
heaven. He that sought to destory Christ in life was Judah as in heaven it
was the false son Lucifer. He that was the accuser of Christ in life was
Judah as it was the false son Lucifer in the preexistence as set out in
Zechariah chapter 3. He that betrayed
Christ in life was Judas as it was the false son Lucifer in heaven.
Now just as Lucifer defied the mind and the will of the Father in the Father's
selection of Jehovah to be the Redeeming leader of the Hosts of Heaven, so
also it was Judah and his associates who would defy the mind and will of the
father, Jacob. Jacob had indicated by his presentation to Joseph the rainbow
coat of many colors of the coveannt that Joseph was to be the rightful heir
of the covenant—Rueben having failed in the test of righteousness. And
just as Lucifer and his associates sought to destroy and replace Jehovah in
his position of right, it was Judah who sought to destroy Joseph first by
murder and second, when Rueben opposed that plan, it was Judah who still
proceeded to suggest and lead in carrying out the selling of Joseph into
slavery and in Judah's consideration certain extinction. And thereby did Judah
think to gain the honor of the father over Joseph, just as Lucifer had in his
design so concieved to do in heaven.
Now there are some who would but extoll Judah and build up his character. By
no means is paralleling or comparing Judah to Lucifer is it making a point
that Judah is or was the exact same as Lucifer. And in like manner in paralleling
Joseph's like with Christ's there also it is not a matter of making of Joseph
the same as Jesus Christ. But of a certainty there are those who build Judah
up without the foundation or substance of truth in the matter. Some say that
'Judah' was the first who suggests that the brothers not kill Joseph but
'rather instead' sell him into slavery and they like to point out that this
was 'better than most of the brothers would have done it not the ideal
solution in Joseph's behalf'. But their is a divergance between scripture and
what is merely a matter of preferred Jewish tradition. The Bible states
plainly and clearly that Rueben was the one who stepped up while it was
Judah who was in the 'association of brothers' who conspired against Joseph
to slay him:
"And when they [Joseph's brothers including Judah] saw him afar
off, even before he came near unto them, they conspired against him to slay
him. And they [all the brothers] said one to another, Behold, this dreamer
cometh. Come now therefore, and les us slay him, and cast him into some pit,
and we will say, Some evil beast hath devoured him: and we shall see what will
become of his dreams. And Reuben heard it, and he delivered
him [Joseph] out of their hands; and said, Let us not kill him. And Reuben
said unto them, Shed no blood, but cast him into this pit that is in the
wilderness, and lay no hand upon him; that he might rid [deliver] him out of
their hands, to deliver him to his father again." ~ Genesis
37:18-22
And this was Rueben's intent. So the brothers, which included Judah, did not
kill Joseph but stript Joseph of his coat of many colors, the coat of the
covenant birthright, and they took him and cast him into a pit. And will it
was that Rueben was next away, and Judah and his associates sat together,
Rueben having already made the point not to kill Jospeh, it was Judah who
slyly manuvered the brothers into the next action as the Bible so states:
"And Judah said unto his brethren [Rueben already ending the
murder attempt], What profit is it if we slay our brother, and conceal his
blood? Come, and let us sell him to the Ishmeelites, and let not our hand be
upon him; for he is our brother and our flesh. And his brethren were content."
~ Genesis 37:27
And thus Judah, the brothers having been denied slaying Joseph by Reuben's
intervention, does cunningly persuade his brothers to still carry out a plot
of riddening themselves of Joseph by profitting from the selling him into
slavery. And for the price of a slave, according to the devise of Judah, did
the brothers still rid themselves and Judah of Joseph. Judah was the one
with the motive of expectent return, being next in line of the sons of Leah
unto the birthright, after Rueben, Simion and Levi who had all outwardly
sinned by adultry or murder and thus removed themselves from righteous
consideration. So in this had Judah thought that he had prevailed over
Joseph, having rid the family of the heir aparent with Judah himself waiting
in the wings to replace Joseph in the birthright blessing. And whereas
Reuben had ending the plot against Joseph, it was Judah who cleverly
revived it and led it renewal to completion only in manner of form changed
but effectively of the same result against his brother Joseph.
And this was also the plan of Lucifer, as he stood before God to so accuse
Jehovah before the Father. Of exactly what we have not clear record, but
certainly it was Lucifer by the name label and title of Satan who so stood
in opposition to 'accuse' and thus remove Jehovah from before the Great
LORD God Elohim.
Now when Reuben did return, he found the pit empty of Joseph and he rent his
clothes. And he came to his brethren and said the child is not, 'whither shall
I go?' or 'what shall I do.' And thus the plan continued as originally
devised, a kid goat was killed and Joseph's coat was dipped in the blood, and
they, the brothers, brought it to their father, and said, 'This have we found:'
And Jacob concluded upon it that Joseph had been killed by a wild beast who
had devoured him, having rent him in pieces', for so the coat had been shred
into pieces by the contrivance of the brothers, Judah being chief among them
after Joseph's 'demise' and in the stead of Rueben.
And though presented in another item more completely, it ought to be remembered
here that the Bible of today is still very much a 'Jewish product' from the
Jewish perspective with a distinct Jewish bias written into its pages. They
do present themselves to the world as the chosen people irrespective of the
consideration that the others of Israel, particularly that of Joseph and his
sons, in particular Ephraim, are still all round about and Judah IS NOT
alone in this world the only chosen people of God. In fact God has openned
up the doors to all who will but accept him to be so considered and brought
into his fold as Ephraim, all of Israel and his companions. But the Jewish
skew is still there in the pages of the Bible, though not as such in the pages
of the Book of Mormon. And thus with the proverbial 'salt' does one need to
read, understand and glean from the pages of the Bible just what is being
said and done in respect to God and his covenant people, with as this text
does subscribe, that Joesph, Ephraim, all Israel and his companions are very
much the very chosen people of the Lord. Not that Judah is cast off, eccept
by one's own failure to accept the Lord, but that it is in an through the
leadership of Ephraim in these days and times that the blessings of heaven
are indeed upon the earth, having come of past time, and of future times and
of present times as well.
But, the heavenly parallels which match Judah with Lucifer are so pronouced, clear
and vivid that who can deny that they were of intent and not mere coincedence?
