4 And Jehoshaphat dwelt at Jerusalem: and he went out
again through the people from Beer-sheba to mount
Ephraima, and brought them back
unto the LORD God of their fathers.

Ephraim This was the extent of the Kingdom of Judah, from
Beer-sheba to mount Ephraim, and thus a part of Ephraim was with and a
part of Judah as previously explained in 1 Kings 12:23, 1 Chronicles 9:3,
and 2 Chronicles 15:9 and 2 Chronicles 17:2.
