Izapa Stela 5 is a large stone carving of an ancient Mayan location. It is on of a number of such
stone releif carvings. From a purely secular archealogical position couched in what science
supposes and theorizes, it have little religious significants. Of many of the LDS faith attention
has been brought to it due to the many exact parallel representation and translations of items
on the stela which relate directly to Lehi's dream of the Tree of Life as found in the Book of
Mormon, 1 Nephi, chapter 8. Of course 'science' dispells any such connection largely because
science is not a faith based endeavor. Likewise many obvious evidences of the Bible are also so
not recognized the the 'scientific world'. To learn briefly concerning Stela 5 and such takes as
