6 ¶ And he said unto me, Son of man, hast
thou seen this? Then he brought me, and caused me to return to the
brink of the river.
7 Now when I had returned, behold, at the bank of
the river were very many trees on the one side and on the other.
8 Then said he unto me, These waters
issue out toward the east countrya,
and go down into the desert, and go into the
asea: which being brought forth into the sea, the
bwaters shall be healed.

8a These waters issue out toward the
country Now for such 'waters' to issue to the east from 'under'
the temple the Mount of Olives need be split and allow a course to the
Jordan river and down into the Dead Sea. Joseph Smith and scripture as well
as other considerations of those days would so indicate such that besides
Judah returning and rebuilting Jerusalem, the temple must be also so rebuilt
according to Ezekiel's plan and water come out from under the temple and
those waters heal the Dead Sea (Teachings p. 286), and this when the Lord
Himself sets foot upon the Mount of Olives, causing the mount to divide and
create a just such a valley path (Zechariah 14:4; D&C 133:20-24; Enrichment I
detailing events in CES Manual of Ezekiel 47:1-12).
