9 ¶ aAll ye beasts of the field,
come to devour, yea, all ye beasts in the
foresta.
10 His awatchmen are
bblind: they are all ignorant, they are all dumb
dogs, they cannot bark; sleeping, lying down, loving to slumber.
11 Yea, they are agreedy
dogs which can never have enough, and they are
bshepherds that cannot understand: they all look to
their cown way, every one for his gain, from his
quarter.
12 Come ye, say they, I will fetch wine, and we will fill ourselves with strong drink; and to morrow shall be as this day, and much more abundant.

9a ye beasts in the forest
Now the cause of why the Lord will have to gather his people is that the
gospel of Christ is lost and all must be gathered back unto it. And this is
because they who would be the 'watchmen', that is those professors of
religion who claim to have the true doctrine are but greedy dogs seeking
wealth, they do not understand nor comprehend the doctrine of Christ but do
look or interpret it their own way and for their own gain. They are drunken
with the corrupt wine of false religion.
