1 AND the LORD
acalled unto bMoses, and spake unto him
out of the ctabernacle of the congregation, saying,
2 Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto
them, If any man of you bring an offering unto the LORD, ye shall bring
your offering of the cattle, even of the herd, and of the
flocka.
3 If his offering be a aburnt
bsacrifice of the herd, let him offer a male
cwithout dblemish: he shall offer it of
his own evoluntary will at the door of the tabernacle of
the congregation before the LORD.

2a If any man of you bring an offering
unto the LORD, ye shall bring your offering of the cattle, even of the herd,
and of the flock Read properly, this states that any and every
offering, whatever else is also brought as an offering, an animal sacrifice
of the herd of the flock was to also be brought. The animal of the herd of
the flock was a representation of the sacrifice of Christ on the one hand and
on the other hand it is a token before God that the natural substance of the
earth, the physical is placed into subjection to God and the spiritual.
