3 And as he sat upon the mount of Olives over against the temple, Peter and James and John and Andrew asked him privately,
4 Tell us, when shall these things be? and what
shall be the asign when all these things shall be
fulfilled?
5 And Jesus answering them began to say, Take heed
lest any man deceive you:
6 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am
Christa; and shall
adeceive many.

6a many shall come in my nam, saying I
am Christ It ought to be noted that the name 'Christ' was
inserted by the translators and was not a part of the original text. This
leave it open to mean not merely those pronouncing themselves to be Christ,
but it may well be applied to those who falsely profess to be of Christ, his
true followers. Many apostates would still fain that they were the true ones
of Christ. This is the history of Traditional Christianity. They say lo here,
and lo there, making themselves out to be Christ's true diciples and all
others not. But in truth Christ claims none such, for they have all gone
astray not sparing the flock of the early church.
