       CHAPTER 103

David exhorts the saints to bless the Lord for his mercy—The Lord is merciful unto those who keep his commandments.

A Psalm of David.
BLESS the LORDa, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name.
a LORD It is important to remember that there was no distinction in the Hebrew written language to write uppercase or lowercase letters. This capitalization of the word 'lord' as 'LORD' is an interpretive designation which is generally applied and used when the one of the Hebrew forms of the name Jehovah is used in the Hebrew text. Yet while in most cases it does reference Jehovah the Son of the Father of Spirits, there are times such as in Psalms 110 when the name is used by the Hebrew language when speaking of God the Father of Spirits. Thus as far as the 'Hebrew' is concerned, it may not be seen as a strick distinction of either the Father or the Son but more as the name of God which might be applied to either, or or both.
Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits:
Who aforgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy bdiseases;
Who aredeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies;
Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the aeagle's.
The LORD executeth righteousness and judgment for all that are oppressed.
He made known his ways unto Moses, his acts unto the children of Israel.
The aLORD is bmerciful and gracious, slow to canger, and plenteous in mercy.
He will not always chide: neither will he keep his aanger for ever.
He hath not dealt with us after our sins; nor rewarded us according to our iniquities.
For as the heaven is high above the earth, so great is his mercy toward them that fear him.
As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us.
Like as a father apitieth his bchildren, so the LORD pitieth them that fear him.
For he knoweth our framea; he remembereth that we are adust.
a our frame Just as the frame of a house provides but the temporal structure of a home, so it is with the temporal tabernacle. It is what is placed inside the temporal structure which brings life, the spirit to the body of flesh and bones, and that which goes inside the frame of a house is what makes it a home.
As for man, his days are as grass: as a flower of the field, so he flourisheth.
For the wind passeth over it, and it is gone; and the place thereof shall know it no more.
But the amercy of the LORD is from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear him, and his righteousness unto children's children;
To such as keep his covenant, and to those that remember his commandments to do them.
The LORD hath prepared his throne in the heavens; and his kingdom ruleth over all.
Bless the LORD, ye his angels, that excel in strength, that do his commandments, hearkening unto the voice of his word.
Bless ye the LORD, all ye his hosts; ye ministers of his, that do his apleasure.
Bless the LORD, all his works in all places of his dominion: bless the LORD, O my soul.
