       CHAPTER 122

David says: Go into the house of the Lord—Give thanks unto him.

A Song of degrees of David.
1 I was glad when they said unto me, Let us go into the ahouse of the LORD.
2 Our feet shall stand within thy gates, O Jerusalem.
3 Jerusalem is builded as a city that is compact together:
4 Whither the tribes go up, the tribes of the LORD, aunto the testimony of Israel, to give thanks unto the name of the LORD.
5 For there are set thrones of judgmenta, the thrones of the house of Davidb.

King David the Lord
It is Christ who is the promised King David of the latter-days who will come to rule, judge and reign over all of Israel, that is Zion who are the people of the Lord during the 1000 years of the Millennial era.
5a there [in Jerusalem] are set thrones of judgement It seems significant that the name of the city of the Lord is Jerusalem, the City of Peace. David fashioned the Jersalem which he built up after the City of the Lord. And it is in fact 'The City of the Lord' which is the Lord's seat of Judgement. Though taken to mean the various thrones of all the descendant kings of David of the Old Testament, there is a greater meaning in the singular to the City and the Judgement of our Lord, whose name is David, meaning the Beloved. And it was to the David of the Old Testament to who this name was given in similitude of the Beloved of God. Just as the son of Nun was given the every name of the Lord, being JESUS or Jehosuha, so it was the the son of Jesse was also given one of the names or titles of the Lord, the 'Beloved' referencing the Beloved Son of the Father.
5b the thrones of the house of David It was set forth that the Messiah would be a descendant of King David, the heir of the covenant. And though the thrones of the many kings who descended from David were established in Jerusalem of old of the Jews, it will be in the New Jerusalem of the Land of Zion, the Land of Joseph, from which the Lord, whose name is 'DAVID', the 'BELOVED' and who is the true Messiah, the Messiah ben Joseph, who will judge and reign all of Israel from that land and that city during the Millennial reign. (See: Messiah ben David ~ Messiah ben Joseph)
6 Pray for the apeace of Jerusalem: they shall bprosper that love thee.
7 Peace be within thy walls, and prosperity within thy palaces.
8 For my brethren and companions' sakes, I will now say, aPeace be within thee.
9 Because of the house of the LORD our God I will seek thy good.
