13a Thy name, O LORD, endureth for
ever; and thy memorial The italsized words where added by
the King James translators. They are not a part of the original text and at
times it reads better and reveals much when they are removed and the text is
read without them. "Thy name O LORD for ever thy memorial". A memorial is a
remembrance as to just what the bottom line essence of one's epitaph should
be. This one name epitaph is Jehoshua - Jehovah Delivers or Jehovah is
Salvation, which name in the transliterated Greek is Jesus.
