6a stretched out the earth above the
waters In the making, creating, organizing the dry land (earth),
the Lord brought the dry land up from under the waters and stretched out
upon the surface of the waters. In some ways this positions the somewhat
precarious condition of land 'floating as plates' expriencing 'continential
or plate drift' which account or stands in parallel confirmation that indeed
the land does rest above the depths of the sea. Islands are perhaps the most
illustrative of this precarious situation as they have raised up often throuh
sizmic volcanic events which raises the material elements from the ocean floor
and the earth's mantal to form land masses and then the continental drifts of
the land plates colliding together to further raise up mountains and elaborate
extensive sizable land masses upon which air breathing life may live. Here
the psalmist seems to understand and appreciate this condition gleaned from
the prophet scriptural writings of God's prophets and his own given spiritual
insights as to the facts of the matter. Of course the God of this temporal
creation is Jehovah, the Spirit Son of God the Father, to whom the Father gave
power and authority to so perform the creation of the temporal heaven and
earth under the Father's direction and approval.
