       CHAPTER 93

The Lord reigneth—He is from everlasting—Holiness becometh the hous of the Lord forever.

1 The LORD reigneth, he is aclothed with majesty; the LORD is clothed with strength, wherewith he hath girded himself: the world also is stablished, that it cannot be moved.
2 Thy throne is established of olda: thou art from aeverlasting.
2a Thy throne is established of old For this Psalm to recognize in Old Testament time that the throne of the Lord was established of old gives an 'age' to it as well as that 'time' of the premortal existence when God the Father so appointed, anointed and empowered Jehovah the Son to the work of the Messiah so named Jehoshua or Jesus (Zechariah 3) from that early beginning of old.
3 The afloods have lifted up, O LORD, the floods have lifted up their voice; the floods lift up their waves.
4 The LORD on high is mightier than the noise of many waters, yea, than the mighty waves of the sea.
5 Thy testimonies are very sure: holiness becometh thine house, O LORD, for ever.
