RAPA NUI
(Easter Island by Another Name)
As mysterious as can be with its giant stone men facing out to sea with
their 'redhair' topknot of stone and bearded profile and long ears, Rapa Nui has begun to both recall its
Polynesian background and even a renewing of some of its land resources as seen here in the background of
palm trees which were not there a number of years back when the land was almost totally baren of any trees
and folage at all. The history of Rapa Nui is legendary literally and the story speaks of two tribal races vieing
for island domination. Today Rapa Nui's polynesian life is returning and its secrets seem to be leaking out or at
least rebirthing themselves perhaps anew.
The Island's History
It is difficult to conceive that the red-haired, bearded, long faced, fair skinned contingent of Easter Island did
not have a leading and significant role in the Island history, after all their magnificent giant megalifts are there
for time imminmorial to see as a testament of them. But there is science today ready to deny the traditional oral
'legends' of the surviving historical inhabitants of the Island in a manner and to an extent that ignores whatever
the people say actually happened and to replace it with what neatly satisfies the 'Ivory Tower' scientific theories
of contrived science, which comes down to even negating the fact that statued represented people did not exist or
play any real role in the Island whatsoever. It just does not fit their scientific models of peoples and their
migrations and goings on which science seems all too willing to but dictate and pan handle their sacred theories
despite any real truth of the matter.
Fact is that there is evidence which science simply ignores to achieve their own 'holy grail'interpretation of what
they say must have happened in order to make their theories fly and not crash and burn upon the rock of Rapa Nui.
First of all whatever Thor Heyerdahl has to offer and contribute, despite being one of the first on the scene and
most exposed to the poeple and thier land and their stories as to the events which they lived. Certainly can not
have red head, bearded, white folks coming over from Peru, though evidence is there that they were in Peru to have
been so associated with Easter Island; it just does not fit the scientific model of Polynesian origins as science
see them and their being 'the' single force at hand upon the island. 'Newest spin', Plynesian Rats brought
in by the colonizing and inhabiting Asian and Western Pacific origins of the Polynesia brought them in and all the
havoc is to be blamed upon them and not any such quarls between two competing groups of civil war between light
skinned bearded redheads and brown skinned regardless of what the peole have said it to be themselves. It is ignore
the 'history' and feed and promote the theory time in the 'scientific world' relative to Rapa Nui.
To that end of thwarting the contived self miopically defined history of Papa Nui by science's dictates which comply
with science's theory, I have give a listing of website which actually have preserved much of the oarl traditions
of the actual peoples of Easter Island in the manners in which they tell their own stories. Of course as is the
case of any such 'oral set of traditons' there are variations to the tale. But rather than discretiting the people's
word because there are some perspectives of disagreence, putting together that which is had common among them ought
to be built upon to give a 'historical perspectie' to the events rather than to just scientifically fictionalize
what must have happened to meet science's theory. So here is the list.
