~ The Play ~
A place to begin is to understand that the Moon Estate of Treheer is in the Parish of Liskeard and Port Isaac is in the Parish of St Endellion.   Elizabeth Moon was born in 1738 at Treheer Liskeard, she did not marry until 1780, and she died on the 2nd day of May 1814 age 75 in Port Isaac and she was buried at St Endellion.   Elizabeth Bunt's Grand Niece, Mary Watts, the daughter of Elizabeth's Nephew William Watts, also died the 26 day of May 1814 at age 10. Mary was buried in the same grave as her Grand Aunt, Elizabeth and she was so noted on the same tombstone as grantaunt Elizabth Bunt nee Moon. Elizabeth had been born to Mr & Mrs Cornelius Moon of Treheer.   Mary Watts was grandchild of Jane Watts nee Moon and the grandniece of Elizabeth Bunt nee Moon. Of course Jane Watts nee Moon & Elizabeth Bunt nee Moon were sisters. They are both the daughters of Mr. Cornelius Moon and his wife Joane Bowden/Bawden.   William Watts, Elizabeth's nephew, and sister Jane's son, died 20 Novr 1833 aged 63. He was buried near the gravestone of his aunt Elizabeth Bunt and his daughter Mary Watts. He also was noted on that same gravestone as his aunt and daughter as seen above.
