The Holy Seed
All things that speak of and relate to obtaining salvation in the kingdom of God deal with Jesus Christ. Many of the such are but metaphors, which speak concerning Him and his role in bring salvation unto God's children. In Lehi's dream he metaphorically is the tree of life as the gift of salvation, the straight and narrow path or way, and the rod of iron, which in turn is the Word or the Word of God. Jesus is the fountian of life of the living water of truth, that if one but drink from it they may never thirst again. There is no other way by which man may come unto God and his Kingdom but by Jesus Christ.
Yet, as those of the world begin to innovate and corrupt that water, that word of the rod, and that path by which men must enter into, by their imagined personal designs and their philosophies in which they would mold and make God to be, as a figure they whold have him to be, rather than accepting God as he is; that water, path, rod and tree become defiled by the lies and half truths of Satan's desceptions. By such, the devil by the mouths of men, stands to lie and lead the chlldren of men swiftly down to hell.
Jehovah, who is the same as Jesus Christ, it the first of his (our) generation as the Firstborn of the Father in the Spirit and the Only Begotten of the Father in the flesh. And he it is that has prevailed in God from the beginning. And thus the unifying name of Israel as one who has prevailed with God stands first most to be the name of our Exemplar. And as we follow him and join ourselves with him and unto him in and through the Gospel and Atonment of Christ, we to become thouse who are Israel, those who have prevailed in God to be the sons and daughters of God and enabled to eventually become even as God is.
Now Jehovah-Jesus Christ as the Spirit God of the Old Testament, from the beginning held the powers of God, the Priesthood of God, the Glory of the Father. And by the empowerment given him by God the Father, the Firstborn son in the spirit, as a Spirit God did create this temporal creation and he did form the bodies of Adam and Eve in the image of his spirit body and in the image of the Father's celestial body. When the brother of Jared, Mahonri Moriancumr, saw the image of the body of Christ-Jehovah as recorded in the Book of Mormon in Ether chapter 3 he states:
With some explanation, Jehovah-Jesus Christ does stand as the Father and the Son. By Divine Investiture of that anointing, consecration and ordination of empowerment given before the foundation of the world, the Father did empower Jehovah to stand in the stead of the Father in all things. Under the direction of the Father did Jehovah so create the heaven and the earth as the standing Word of God, standing in the stead of the Father, by the power of the Father, in him give. And this that it would be that, "there are no angels [spirit children of the Father] who minister to this earth but those who do belong or have belonged to it." ~ Doctrine and Covenants | Section 130:5
