Remembering Our Children
In Life and Death – Comfort Ye My People1

When Jesus lived on earth and ministered unto the people, little children were naturally drawn to his kind and gracious spirit. On an occasion Jesus' diciples attempted to hold back some little children who were seeking to come unto Jesus. Jesus rebuked those disciples and said unto all who could hear the following:

“Suffer [permit] little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven.”2

"Dearest Children God Is Near You."3

Little Children Are Alive in Christ and Are Taken Home to Jesus

Little children live in Christ as revealed by the Holy Ghost: “ . . . little children are alive in Christ, even from the foundation of the world; if not so, God is a partial God, and also a changeable God, and a respecter to persons; for how many little children have died without baptism!”4 And by the great mercy and grace of Jesus Christ, the salvation of little children comes under the redemptive power of Christ. And when a child dies, that child is taken home to Jesus Christ and because of Christ's atonement they are a part of God's kingdom. That children are immmediately taken home to Jesus was made known to the prophet Alma by an angel:

“ . . . it has been made known unto me by an angel, that the spirits of all men, as soon as they are departed from this mortal body, yea, the spirits of all men, whether they be good or evil, are taken home to that God who gave them life.”5

Yes, at the time of death, all are taken home to Jesus Christ who as our Temporal Creator and Ministering God who hath given us life under the direction of his Father, and Our Father In Heaven. Jesus, the Son of God, is the Savior of the World, even Jesus Christ Jehovah, the very God and Lord of this land.6 Our 'hope' is in his atonement, that through the power of the resurrection being by our exercise of faith in him, and through his love, the love of God, we will all be raised to life eternal.9 For God so loved the world that he gave his Only Begotten Son, Jesus Christ to the fulfillment of this end.8

For this is my work and my glory—to bring to pass the immortality and eternal life of man.9

The Spirit, Heart and Soul of Christmas Is Such

“The hopes and fears of all the years are met in thee tonight.”8

[See also in Ether 3:6-16 concerning the brother of Jared, Mahonri Moriancumer, that which was spoken by Jesus Christ himself at the time Jesus/Jehovah was acting in the stead of the Father as our Ministering God Jehovah of the Old Testament: And also concerning Faith – Hope – Love―And what is it that ye shall hope for? Behold I say unto you that ye shall have hope through the atonement of Christ and the power of his resurrection, to be raised unto life eternal, and this because of your faith in him according to the promise.(Book of Mormon | Moroni 7:41)]
