The kings came and fought, then fought the kings of Canaan in Taanach by the waters of Megiddo; they took no gain of money.

 ¶ But when Ahaziah the king of Judah saw this, he fled by the way of the garden house. And Jehu followed after him, and said, ^aSmite^• him also in the chariot. And they did so at the going up to Gur, which is by Ibleam. And he fled to Megiddo, and died there.

 ¶ In his days ^aPharaoh^•-nechoh king of Egypt went up against the king of Assyria to the river Euphrates: and king ^bJosiah^• went against him; and he slew him at Megiddo, when he had seen him.

Zechariah speaks Messianically: Messiah shall be betrayed for thirty pieces of silver—It shall be cast to the potter in the house of the Lord.

At his Second Coming the Lord shall fight for Israel—His feet shall stand upon the Mount of Olives—He shall be King over all the earth—Plagues shall destroy the wicked.

 In that day shall there be a great ^amourning in Jerusalem, as the mourning of Hadadrimmon in the valley of Megiddon.

 For they are the ^aspirits^• of ^bdevils^•, working ^cmiracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the ^dbattle^• of that great day of God Almighty.

 Behold, I come as a ^athief^•. Blessed is he that ^bwatcheth^•, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame.

 And he gathered them together into a place called in the Hebrew tongue ^aArmageddon^•.

 And the seventh angel poured out his vial into the air; and there came a great voice out of the temple of heaven, from the throne, saying, It is done.

 And there were voices, and thunders, and lightnings; and there was a great ^aearthquake^•, such as was not since men were upon the earth, so mighty an earthquake, and so great.

 And the great city was divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell: and great ^aBabylon came in remembrance before God, to give unto her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of his ^bwrath.

 And every island fled away, and the ^amountains^• were not found.

 And there fell upon men a great ^ahail^• out of heaven, every stone about the weight of a talent: and men blasphemed God because of the plague of the hail; for the plague thereof was exceeding great.
