BIBLE DICTIONARY NUN
Fish; Posterity (Son); Eternal; Inheritence; Kingdom; Heir of All Things (the throne); Number 50.
Basic Meaning: Messiah - Heir to the Throne
1) The fourteenth letter of the ancient Hebrew 22 letter alphabet - symbol of the bentover servant.
Law of Moses & Josiah kept the passover and on the 14th
day of the first month killed the LORD's passover sacrifice. Ex. 12:6;
Lev. 23:5; 2 Chron. 35:1; Ezek. 45:21; etc.
2) The Ephraimite of Ephrathite father of the prophet Joshua. Like
Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and Joseph, Joshua and his father Nun are a
'Type' of the Messiah to come.
The word Nun appears in the propher name of Joshua (Joshua Ben Nun).
Joshua is the great 'Type' of Jesus. Jesus is the Greek version of
the name Joshua. Ben Nun means 'son of perpetuity' and is an acronym
of the word Ben itself. Joshua Ben Nun can be Jesus Heir Eternal of
All Things. Of course the Christian symbol is the 'Fish'. There is
much which connects Jesus the heir of Jesse the Ephrathite (1 Samuel 17:12)
with Joshua and his father Nun the Ephrathite (Jasher 81:54).

and Ephrathite.
