Zechariah speaks Messianically: Messiah shall be betrayed for thirty pieces of silver—It shall be cast to the potter in the house of the Lord.

 For they are the ^aspirits^• of ^bdevils^•, working ^cmiracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the ^dbattle^• of that great day of God Almighty.

 Behold, I come as a ^athief^•. Blessed is he that ^bwatcheth^•, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame.

 And he gathered them together into a place called in the Hebrew tongue ^aArmageddon^•.

 And the seventh angel poured out his vial into the air; and there came a great voice out of the temple of heaven, from the throne, saying, It is done.

 And there were voices, and thunders, and lightnings; and there was a great ^aearthquake^•, such as was not since men were upon the earth, so mighty an earthquake, and so great.

 And the great city was divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell: and great ^aBabylon came in remembrance before God, to give unto her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of his ^bwrath.

 And every island fled away, and the ^amountains^• were not found.

 And there fell upon men a great ^ahail^• out of heaven, every stone about the weight of a talent: and men blasphemed God because of the plague of the hail; for the plague thereof was exceeding great.

 ¶ And the house of Joseph, they also went up against Beth-el: and the LORD was with them.

 And the house of Joseph sent to descry Beth-el. (Now the name of the city before was Luz.)

 And the spies saw a man come forth out of the city, and they said unto him, Shew us, we pray thee, the entrance into the city, and we will shew thee mercy.

 And when he shewed them the entrance into the city, they smote the city with the edge of the sword; but they let go the ^aman^• and all his family.

 And the man went into the land of the Hittites, and built a city, and called the name thereof Luz: which is the name thereof unto this day.

 ¶ Neither did Manasseh ^adrive^• out the inhabitants of Beth-shean and her towns, nor Taanach and her towns, nor the inhabitants of Dor and her towns, nor the inhabitants of Ibleam and her towns, nor the inhabitants of Megiddo and her towns: but the Canaanites would dwell in that land.

 ¶ In his days ^aPharaoh^•-nechoh king of Egypt went up against the king of Assyria to the river Euphrates: and king ^bJosiah^• went against him; and he slew him at Megiddo, when he had seen him.

 And his servants carried him in a chariot dead from Megiddo, and brought him to Jerusalem, and buried him in his own sepulchre. And the people of the land took ^aJehoahaz^• the son of Josiah, and anointed him, and made him king in his father’s stead.

The battle of Gog and Magog against Israel shall usher in the Second Coming—The Lord will come amid war and pestilence, and all men shall shake at his presence.

 ¶ Proclaim ye this among the Gentiles; Prepare ^awar, wake up the mighty men, let all the men of war draw near; let them come up:

 Beat your plowshares into swords, and your pruninghooks into spears: let the weak say, I am ^astrong^•.

 Assemble yourselves, and come, all ye heathen, and gather yourselves together round about: thither cause thy ^amighty^• ones to come down, O LORD.

 Let the ^aheathen be wakened, and come up to the valley of Jehoshaphat: for there will I sit to ^bjudge all the heathen round about.

 Put ye in the ^asickle^•, for the ^bharvest^• is ripe: come, get you down; for the ^cpress^• is full, the ^dfats^• overflow; for their wickedness is great.

 Multitudes, ^amultitudes^• in the valley of decision: for the ^bday^• of the LORD is near in the valley of decision.

 For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to ^abattle^•; and the city shall be taken, and the ^bhouses^• rifled, and the women ravished; and half of the city shall go forth into captivity, and the residue of the people shall not be cut off from the city.

 Then shall the LORD go forth, and ^afight^• against those nations, as when he fought in the day of battle.

 ¶ And his ^afeet shall ^bstand in that day upon the ^cmount^• of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south.

 And ye shall flee to the valley of the mountains; for the valley of the mountains shall reach unto Azal: yea, ye shall flee, like as ye fled from before the ^aearthquake^• in the days of Uzziah king of Judah: and the LORD my God shall come, and all the ^bsaints^• with thee.
