In the New Testament, an epistle written by the Apostle Paul to the Saints in Ephesus. The epistle is of great importance, for it contains Pauls teachings about the Church of Christ.
Chapter 1 contains the usual salutation. Chapters 2-3 explain the change that occurs in people when they become members of the Churchthey become fellow citizens with the Saints, with Gentiles and Jews united in one Church. Chapters 4-6 explain the roles of Apostles and prophets, the need for unity, and the need to put on the whole armor of God.
