The following is the will of William Hender who married Annabella Edgecombe, the daughter of Christopher Edgecombe, my 5th Great Uncle, as transcribed from such record by his 5th Great Nephew Don R. Hender.

In the Name of God Amen I William Hender of the Parish of Altarnun and County of Cornwall Yeoman do make and ordain this my last will and Testament in manner and form following

First I will and positively order that all my Debts and Funeral Charges be paid and discharged by my Executrix herein after named

I give and bequeath unto my beloved Wife Annabella Hender her Heirs Executors Administrators and Assigns forever all my lands which I am possessed of (that is) a Tenement in Trewint called Adams and Northeys a half in dale in Harfoot Park situate in Trewint and a Tenement called Lonkemoor all situate in the Parish of Altarnun and to have it immediately after my decease

All the rest residue and remainder of my Goods, Chattels, Notes, Bills, Bonds or whatsoever I shall die possessed of I give and bequesth unto my beloved Wife Annabella Hender whom I constitue and appoint whole and Sole Executrix of this my last Will and Testament In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and Seal this Nineteenth day of August One Thousand eight hundred and eighteen—
