Paise Him in Song, in Testimony and in Prayer
1 Praise ye the LORD. Praise God in his asanctuary: praise him in the firmamenta of his power.
2 Praise him for his mighty acts: praise him according to his excellent greatness.

His Mighty Acts
In order to praise God for His 'mighty acts', one must come to know and understand just what those acts are and who God is. In such praising of God, one must consider that the praise is unto the works of God as confined to the Godhead, that is Father, Son and Holy Ghost, as they act in concert and as one in their design and purpose. With this in mind and without attempting to deliniate these acts in particular to whom, let just a general representative list surfice.

1a in the firmament The firmament is another name for heaven of the heavens. It is a simple concept kept at the simplist level, that God dwells in heaven and man on earth. It does not concern itself with where or exactly what heaven is like, just that where God dwells is in the outer cosmos somewhere and man is confined to this planetary confine known as earth.  1a Alma 15:17; TG Sanctuary
