1 My son, if thou wilt receive my words, and ahide my
commandments with theea;
  2 So that thou incline thine ear unto wisdom, and apply thine
aheart to understanding;
  3 Yea, if thou criest after knowledge, and liftest up thy voice for understanding;
  4 If thou seekest her as silver, and searchest for her as for hid treasures;
  5 Then shalt thou understand the afear of the LORD,
and find the bknowledge of God.

1a hide my commandments with thee Put them in
thy soul, write them in the fleshy parts of thy heart. Instill them in you. Make them the way
of your doing, the way of your life. They are the standard of thy soul, which while they may
not be seen, they do guide you in all that you say and do and are.
