REVEALING HEAVEN
~ What Is Heaven Really Like? ~

shared by Don R. Hender

Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh."
~ Old Testament | Genesis 2:24 ~

Spoken of Adam and Eve while still in and of the Garden of Eden is this verse. Having been formed after the image of God and placed in the Garden by Him, who else could this 'father' and 'mother' of Adam and his wife Eve have been? This is but one of the first clues as to just what the Heaven of God is like and the order thereof. For if one considers that Adam and his wife Eve had a Father and a Mother from whom they would leave, then who but their Heavenly Father AND their Heavenly Mother is it here spoken of. And Jesus in his great Sermon on the Mount did instruct, "Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which [who] is in heaven is perfect." (Matthew 5:48) Now if our Father in Heaven, who is perfect, has a 'wife' referred to as Adam's 'mother' in heaven, and we are to be perfect like our Father in heaven is perfect; does not this seem to imply that we ought to be of 'fathers and mothers' in heaven, husbands and wives, in order to become perfect even as God, our Father in Heaven, is perfect? Consider this in your mind for now.

   Have you ever consider what Heaven is really like? Angels with harps always singing those hymns of praise? Sounds like the Mormon Tabernacle Choir? Well it isn't really ALL like that. And I do not claim to be a prophet or 'The Prophet,' BUT I think I understand enough to present an abridged, somewhat accurate, insight into just what Heaven is, and what it is like. No, no-near-death or 'dead and returned' big flashy arrived at knowledge. I just have come to know what Heaven is like and what it is all about. If the Prophet tells me I'm wrong, then I'm wrong. But I think I'm basically correct.

So, Want to Know What Heaven Is?

If the world were perfect, it wouldn't be.
~ Yogi Berra ~

I'm not exactly sure what Yogi meant, I think I do. It would be a very boring season if everybody won every game. But anyway, he's right. For the purposes of the earth experience, it would not be what it was designed to be if it were perfect. This earth is a time to gain experience, learn to appreciate the sweet, having tasted the bitter, a time to maturate and exercise one's agency, and to come to understand ourselves a little better. It is also a time to be confronted by good and evil, and be left to make personal choices, hopefully the right ones so as not to have to suffer many penalties. Now, if you are still reading this, then I will now proceed to 'reveal to you what Heaven is and what it is like, and what it is not.'

What Heaven Isn't

Sometimes, to understand the contrast between what a thing is, it is beneficial to discuss what it is not. And thereby one may obtain an appreciation as to what or who is not going to be in or a part of Heaven.

It is said that, "Everybody wants to go to Heaven, but nobody wants to die." Well going to heaven just isn't that easy, that is you just don't get there because you're dead. Perhaps that is why many do not what to die, for they consider that is is not to heaven that thy are headed?

Not everybody goes to 'Heaven' where the 'presence of God' is at. Some go to 'other places.' But the 'good news' is, everyone will be resurrected (have their spirit reunited to their relatively 'perfected' body) and every one gains immortality, that is everyone will live on forever. That is the part of the Plan of God wherein everyone will gain a 'degree' of salvation in and through the atonement of Jesus Christ, 'that as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.'

And more 'good news,' for the most part no one will remain in that other place [hell] forever. The 'bad news' is that, while they do not remain in hell, or per chance they don't even go to 'hell'; that still does not mean they have made it into Heaven. So what is this other place(s)? A doctrine of 'limbo' has been spread around, but just about everything said about that is not true either. There is various 'levels' of attainment.

What Heaven Is

What we know about Heaven and its kingdoms, is that the number of God's prepared kingdoms of glory are (3) three. And they are the Celestial, the highest, the Terrestrial, the second kingdom, and the Telestial, which is the lowest kingdom of glory. But they are all kingdoms of glory prepared by God for man. And all that have lived with the exception of those who deny Christ even after having him revealed to them by God's full power of the Holy Ghost, will inherit in one of these kingdoms of glory. That is salvation is a free gift unto all those who will received it, and that is by the 'grace' of God. That is on the one hand. On the other hand, the greatness of one's glory depends upon one's level of acceptance of the Lord and their obedience unto the laws of his Gospel in righteousness. That is, they wicked will be resurrected and purified and receive a kingdom of glory if they but accept Christ, but unless they have repented, are righteous and have down the good works of the Lord, their reward is not as great as those who have excelled in obedience unto God. And that seems only fair, and the way that it is.

The Vision of the Kingdoms of God

~ Power of Jesus Christ Atonement ~

The powers of some degree of salvation is given and possible to all with a very slim exception, which in truth is quite understandable. That is on the one hand only those who want to be saved are saved. Those who deny Christ after he has been revealed unto them are they that deny all truth and are beyond redemption. As so stated here below, All that the Father had put in the Son's power to be was, does the atonement save to some degree. That is except those who deny the Son after the Father has revealed him unto them. It is as though to say and deny the light of the noon day sun on a cloudless day, that the sun is not shine while seeing that it is shining bright.

"That he [Jesus Christ/Jehovah] came into the world, even Jesus, to be crucified for the world, and to bear the sins of the world, and to sanctify the world, and to cleanse it from all unrighteousness;
"That through him all might be saved whom the Father had put into his power and made by him;
"Who glorifies the Father, and saves all the works of his hands, except those sons of perdition who deny the Son after the Father has revealed him.
"Wherefore, he saves all except them—they shall go away into everlasting punishment, which is endless punishment, which is eternal punishment, to reign with the devil and his angels in eternity, where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched, which is their torment—
"And the end thereof, neither the place thereof, nor their torment, no man knows;
"Neither was it revealed, neither is, neither will be revealed unto man, except to them who are made partakers thereof;
"Nevertheless, I, the Lord, show it by vision unto many, but straightway shut it up again;
"Wherefore, the end, the width, the height, the adepth, and the misery thereof, they understand not, neither any man except those who are bordained unto this ccondemnation."

~ Doctrine and Covenants | Section 76:41-48

~ The Telestial Kingdom ~
(1 Cor. 15:40-41; D&C 76:81-91 & 98-112)

The Telestial Kingdom is the third or lowest degree of glory. Those the Son has suffered for the sins of the world, the unprepentant sinners, the wicked of the earth, after at least 1000 years in the spirit prison, will be brought forth in the second resurrection and after every knee does bow and every tongue confess that Jesus is the Christ, then they will inherit the Telestial Kingdom of God, which kingdoms has as many differing degrees of glory as are the comparative light of the visible stars of the heavens. This speaks as to the eye's perceived degrees of brightness and not to any detailed analysis of the ultimate great sizes of such stars.

"And again, we saw the glory of the telestial, which glory is that of the lesser, even as the glory of the stars differs from that of the glory of the moon in the firmament.
"These are they who received not the gospel of Christ, neither the atestimony of Jesus.
"These are they who deny not the Holy Spirit.
"These are they who are thrust down to hell.
"These are they who shall not be redeemed from the devil until the last resurrection, until the Lord, even Christ the Lamb, shall have finished his work.
"These are they who receive not of his fulness in the eternal world, but of the Holy Spirit through the ministration of the terrestrial;
"And the terrestrial through the ministration of the celestial.
"And also the telestial receive it of the administering of angels who are appointed to minister for them, or who are appointed to be ministering spirits for them; for they shall be heirs of salvation.
"And thus we saw, in the heavenly vision, the glory of the telestial, which surpasses all understanding;
"And no man knows it except him to whom God has revealed it."

~ Doctrine and Covenants | Section 76:81-90

All but the son of perdison are save to a degree of salvation, even the wicked: for the Lord did suffer for the sins of the entire world, save those who do utterly deny him even after the witness of the Holy Ghost of Him. Thus, as long as 'they deny not the Holy Ghost,' then the are not the sons of perdison to be cast out into outer darkness and to be consigned to the pit with Satan and his angels for ever and ever eternally. Thus if they do not this then they may end up in the Telestial Kingdom though their works were set in wickedness.

"And the glory of the telestial is one, even as the glory of the stars is one; for as one star differs from another star in glory, even so differs one from another in glory in the telestial world;
"For these are they who are of Paul, and of Apollos, and of Cephas.
"These are they who say they are some of one and some of another—some of Christ and some of John, and some of Moses, and some of Elias, and some of Esaias, and some of Isaiah, and some of Enoch;
"But received not the gospel, neither the testimony of Jesus, neither the prophets, neither the everlasting covenant.
"Last of all, these all are they who will not be gathered with the saints, to be caught up unto the church of the Firstborn, and received into the loud.
"These are they who are liars, and sorcerers, and adulterers, and whoremongers, and whosoever loves and makes a lie.
"These are they who suffer the wrath of God on earth.
"These are they who suffer the vengeance of eternal fire.
"These are they who are cast down to hell and suffer the wrath of Almighty God, until the fulness of times, when Christ shall have subdued all enemies under his feet, and shall have perfected his work;
"When he shall deliver up the kingdom, and present it unto the Father, spotless, saying: I have overcome and have trodden the wine–press alone, even the wine–press of the fierceness of the wrath of Almighty God.
"Then shall he be crowned with the crown of his glory, to sit on the throne of his power to reign forever and ever.
"But behold, and lo, we saw the glory and the inhabitants of the telestial world, that they were as innumerable as the stars in the firmament of heaven, or as the sand upon the seashore;
"And heard the voice of the Lord saying: These all shall bow the knee, and every tongue shall confess to him who sits upon the throne forever and ever;
"For they shall be judged according to their works, and every man shall receive according to his own works, his own dominion, in the mansions which are prepared;
"And they shall be servants of the Most High; but where God and Christ dwell they cannot come, worlds without end.
~ Doctrine and Covenants | Section 76:98-112

What is the hope of those in spirit prision? How do they qualify for greater glory? After receiving of the teachings and witness and conversion unto Christ and their repentance as needed; and there after by being valiant in their testimony of Christ in spreading the Gospel and then of receiving the ordinances vicariously, and also judge according to those of the flesh.

~ The Terrestrial Kingdom ~
(1 Cor. 15:39; D&C 76:71-80)

"And again, we saw the terrestrial world, and behold and lo, these are they who are of the terrestrial, whose glory differs from that of the church of the Firstborn who have received the fulness of the Father, even as that of the moon differs from the sun in the firmament.
"Behold, these are they who died without law;
"And also they who are the spirits of men kept in prison, whom the Son visited, and preached the gospel unto them, that they might be judged according to men in the flesh;
"Who received not the testimony of Jesus in the flesh, but afterwards received it.
"These are they who are honorable men of the earth, who were blinded by the craftiness of men.
"These are they who receive of his glory, but not of his fulness.
"These are they who receive of the presence of the Son, but not of the fulness of the Father.
"Wherefore, they are bodies terrestrial, and not bodies celestial, and differ in glory as the moon differs from the sun.
"These are they who are not valiant in the testimony of Jesus; wherefore, they obtain not the crown over the kingdom of our God.
"And now this is the end of the vision which we saw of the terrestrial, that the Lord commanded us to write while we were yet in the Spirit."
~ Doctrine and Covenants | Section 76:71-80

~ Celestial Kingdom ~
(1 Cor. 15:40-41; D&C 76:50-70)

"And again we bear record—for we saw and heard, and this is the testimony of the gospel of Christ concerning them who shall come forth in the resurrection of the just—
"They are they who received the testimony of Jesus, and believed on his name and were baptized after the manner of his burial, being buried in the water in his name, and this according to the commandment which he has given—
"That by keeping the commandments they might be washed and cleansed from all their sins, and receive the Holy Spirit by the laying on of the hands of him who is ordained and sealed unto this power;
"And who overcome by faith, and are sealed by the Holy Spirit of promise, which the Father sheds forth upon all those who are just and true.
"They are they who are the church of the Firstborn.
"They are they into whose hands the Father has given all things—
"They are they who are priests and kings, who have received of his fulness, and of his glory;
"And are priests of the Most High, after the order of Melchizedek, which was after the order of Enoch, which was after the order of the Only Begotten Son.
"Wherefore, as it is written, they are gods, even the sons of God—
"Wherefore, all things are theirs, whether life or death, or things present, or things to come, all are theirs and they are Christ's, and Christ is God's.
"And they shall overcome all things.
"Wherefore, let no man glory in man, but rather let him glory in God, who shall subdue all enemies under his feet.
"These shall dwell in the presence of God and his Christ forever and ever.
"These are they whom he shall bring with him, when he shall come in the clouds of heaven to reign on the earth over his people.
"These are they who shall have part in the first resurrection.
"These are they who shall come forth in the resurrection of the just.
"These are they who are come unto Mount Zion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly place, the holiest of all.
"These are they who have come to an innumerable company of angels, to the general assembly and church of Enoch, and of the Firstborn.
"These are they whose names are written in heaven, where God and Christ are the judge of all.
"These are they who are just men made perfect through Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, who wrought out this perfect atonement through the shedding of his own blood.
"These are they whose bodies are celestial, whose glory is that of the sun, even the glory of God, the highest of all, whose glory the sun of the firmament is written of as being typical."

~ Doctrine and Covenants | Section 76:50-70

"And thus we saw the glory of the celestial, which excels in all things—where God, even the Father, reigns upon his throne forever and ever;
"Before whose throne all things bow in humble reverence, and give him glory forever and ever.
"They who dwell in his presence are the church of the Firstborn; and they see as they are seen, and know as they are known, having received of his fulness and of his grace;
"And he makes them equal in power, and in might, and in dominion."

~ Doctrine and Covenants | Section 76:92-95

"And thus we saw the glory of the terrestrial which excels in all things the glory of the telestial, even in glory, and in power, and in might, and in dominion.
"And thus we saw the glory of the celestial, which excels in all things—where God, even the Father, reigns upon his throne forever and ever;
. . .
"And the glory of the celestial is one, even as the glory of the sun is one.
"And the glory of the terrestrial is one, even as the glory of the moon is one.
"And the glory of the telestial is one, even as the glory of the stars is one; for as one star differs from another star in glory, even so differs one from another in glory in the telestial world;"
~ Doctrine and Covenants | Section 76:91-92 & 96-98

The Prophet Joseph Smith saw in vision the degrees of glory to which men of earth would obtain to and achieve as their final destination after God's Final Judgment. My 2nd great grandfather was in attendance for a good part of the prophet's receiving of that vision and has given his variously quoted report of the vision from his perspective. The Prophet Joseph and Sydney Rigdon, would see the vision and the effects of their having seen the various portions of it were visually discernable though the witnesses in the room did not see or behold the vision itself.

He stated that, 'I saw the glory and felt the power, but did not see the vision.' He stated that the receiving of the vision would seem to come in intervals. He estimated that he was present for about two-thrids of the time, which was over an hour until the end of the vision. He states that Joseph and Sidney seemed to never move during that time as they were totally occupied with the process. He further stated that "Joseph sat firmly and calmly all the time in the midst of a magnifient glory, but Sidney sat limp and pale, apparently as limber as a rage, observing which, Joseph [later] remarked, smilingly, 'Sidney is not used to it as I am.'" (Juvenile Instructor, May 1892, pp.303-304.) Relatively bad, evil, wicked people who did not take advantage to do not repent, spend at least 1,000 years in the relative 'hell' of spirit prison. They will be punish and suffer a lot there in prison. But then finally, they will come to recognize that Jesus Christ is the Lord and their Ministering God and even they will have been 'reformed' and resurrected into a lifestyle where the devil has been wrung right out of them. But they still will have not repented of their sins in an attempt to come unto Christ and live the higher laws of Heaven, so they will be plated into various degrees of 'lesser glory' to the extent that their lifes may so deserve. Actually the Telestial Kingdom of God is not such a bad place to live. What is really bad about it is having come to know what you could have been and that you did not obtain it. I suppose you will do 'non-wicked' things of personal interests there for the eternities, whether it is counting you baseball cards or exploring the eternal times tables or some such time occupying things. You likely may go to the beach and catch a wave any time you want because there just won't be such things as parents there nor family ties of any kind. You'll just be on a buddy system. But buddy, it will not be heaven.

The telestial kingdom or world is that which the Apostle Paul alludes to as that being where there are as many different degrees as there are stars that are rewarded depending. And the glory are as the brightness of the stars of the night sky when compared to the brightness of the moon or the brightness of the sun, which when it appears no star's brightness can even be seen.

    "There are also celestial bodies, and bodies terrestrial: but the glory of the celestial is one, and the glory of the terrestrial is another.
    "There is one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars: for one star differeth from another star in glory."
    ~ New Testament | 1 Corinthians 15:40-41

Terrestrial Kingdom
(1 Cor. 15:40-41; D&C 76:97,

The glory of the Terrestrail Kingdom is the brightness of the full moon compared to the relative smallness of the brightness of the stars. It does not speak as to the actual moon or an actual star, but merely as to their comparative brightness as seen by the eye in the night sky.

Then there will be those who were good and honorable people, many of whom even claimed to be Christians and lived pretty good lives, but even they did not accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and King to the extent of accepting all of his laws, commandments, and requirements. There's would be such as those things the 'ommited' to do and still would not do, often termed sins of ommision. I suppose that they could be some of those who did gain an honest forgiveness of their sins, lived good lives, but still would not do all that God did require of them to do. Perhaps even repentant athiests might just qualify for this order. And by athiests, I would have to include all those who worshipped and believe in the 'false God' and also the 'false Christs' as well. I mean those who tended to develop their preceptions of Christ and God after that form and thing that 'they wanted them to be' and they did not allow God to define himself. And still here there would be nothing such as family ties. All would be on the level of equals, but no father or mother, brother or sister to speak of. Friends I would have to guess. Maybe even a football game to watch, after all what else would one do? Go to college and become smarter? Maybe. It would be nice and glorious and you'd likely have time to catch up on your reading, but it just would not be Heaven in terms of being in the presence of God in the heaven where he lives. You could have visitors from time to time. Angels may still see to some of you needs. The Terrestrial world ain't so bad, in fact it is quite nice. But still you'd know that who have not achieved all that you could have been.

Now those are some concepts of mine of that heaven is not. And I do not guartee such to be gospel, only personal perceptions. because their sins are so wicked, t The bottom line here is that whatever people's expectentcies may or may not be concerning Heaven. It is going to be what it is. Men do not define God and God's Heaven. It is what God had made it to be. And that is it.

Now most assuredly God's heaven is glorious and man with have eternal increase therein for ever more. How, when man become perfect even as him Father in Heaven is perfect, is there further room for 'improvement' or 'expansion' to one's heavenly existence. On the one hand if man's development had ceased then in that perspective man has come to a condition of being damned or stopped, and there is no more eternal progression. But that is all a matter of relativity and perspective. Certainly there is no further growth or expansion beyond perfection or else it would not be perfection now would it. So the answer is that God will continue to grown and expand eternally in another way and from another perspective.

God's Work and Glory

God has already told us what his work and glory is, that is that work that keeps him forever busy and untimately ever inceasing in glory and being. Since God has become perfect, since we will have become perfect, there will be no more expension within ourselves. And here is a great key to eternity, and work of God and the Eternal Plan of Progression. God's eternal further glory, expansion, work and development lies in His children. It is through his children, providing for them that which he has obtained, by which he eternaly increase in glory and is forever eternally progressing. And that becomes a whole world of others, serving others, selflessness, by providing for the good and benefit of others in an eternal plan of progression in and through God's own posterity, his children, and we are the children of God.

It may not be what you thought Heaven would be like, but it is what it is. And the more that it is considered that this is the fact of the matter, the more sense it begins to make. And it what President David O. McKay conceptualized heave to be like:

    "It is possible to make home a bit of heaven. Indeed I picture heaven as a continuation of the ideal home." ~ President David O. McKay, Gospel Ideals 490, June Era 520, 1964.

Whatever one may think themselves upon the matter, this seems to sum it up pretty well. That is, most simply Heaven is a continuation of the Ideal Home. Eternal Parenthood or the Patriarchal Order of Heaven is what Heaven, God and even the elusive 'Eternal Round' is all about. God's 'work and glory IS to bring to pass the immortality and eternal life of man.' And who is man but we who are the spirit children of God. His work is us, and if we live and eventually become like Him, then that also will become our 'work and glory.' It is the very essence culmination of what the heavens of God, and our eventual heaven if we get there, is and will be.

The eternal family

There seems but a bit of foreshadowig irony that the first major commandment that God gave to Adam and Eve upon their leaving the Garden of Eden was to, 'multiply and fill or replenish the earth.' Already in the Garden of Eden was Adam and Eve spoken of as being husband and wife. And that is because God had already set forth that Adam and Eve where husband and wife. To which circumstance Adam did state:

    "Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh." ~ Old Testament | Genesis 2:24

Here Adam speak of Eve as being his 'wife' and not only that, Adam speaks of his father and his mother. Now Adam was the first man. Who was Adam's father but God the Father of Spirits, and who but our 'Heavenly Mother' of spirits would Adam be speaking of as being his Father and Mother? And thus from the relative 'beginnings' of place man on earth it ought to be both recognized and established that in Heaven there are Heavenly Parents, our Father in Heaven and our Mother in Heaven as well.

So why does the world so often baulk at the concept? It is stated right in those first chapters and verse of Genesis? The nature of Heaven is that of a Heavenly Father and a Heavenly Mother who stands as the parents of the spirits of mankind. One reason is that false apostate traditional Christianity has so often denied such in their making of God such a mystery that only 'they' could be the ones who revealed God to their members. And for centuries the scriptures were withheld from the common man from possessing and reading them for themselves to know of anything diferent as that which the scriptural word of God revealed in and of themselves.

Heaven Is Family Oriented

The Order of Heaven is that of a family order. It is called the Patriarchal Order, which is that where the Patriarch and Matriarch rule together as one in ruling their family together. On earth today there is a flap about Priesthood. The exalted priesthood of God in heaven is such that it is a joint priesthood held and exercised by the Patriarch and Matriarch of the Heavenly Family.

It is only in the Apostalic Order of the Priesthood, that is in the order of administering a 'Church' in the name of God, that men have been placed as representatives of God, bearing the priesthood of God. As that priesthood is exercised in and by the power of the Divinely Invested and Empowerd Son of God, who is Jesus, the same is Jehovah; it is called the Priesthood of God after the order of the Son of God or the Melchizedek Priesthood. It is the same Priesthood as held by those of the Patriarchal order, as all priesthood of God is the same priesthood of God. But the various orders of that priesthood operate under and according to different 'keys' of the priesthood.

In the highest degree of the Celestial Heaven of God, there it is that the Patriarchal Order of the Priesthood of God is established and is the order of there being Parents of Heaven who have Spirit Children and who have as their primary 'work and glory to bring to pass the immortality and eternal life of man.' And thus it is only in this highest degree that such as perfected Gods and Godesses do eternally progress and increase in their glory by that process of perpetuating the souls of the Kingdom of God. Or in other words as Gods and Godesses, they have the power of procreation, whereby they are empowered and enabled to have eternal off spring and eternal increase.

Now again, Heaven is what it is. Men have contrived to make it according to their own imaginations and innovations, but men do not define God. God defines himself and what heaven is, is what it is. The the order of our Heavenly Father is that of a Patriarchal order. That is also the order which God further established with man on earth in those men and their families who believed in and followed the order of God as the Patriachal Fathers. This is why God always dealt with such as Abraham, Isaac and Jacob in terms of their families and not so much in terms of there being members of some church.

As the 'patriarchal order' seems to have been lost over into a 'church' structure at the time of Moses and his institution among Israel of a 'lesser law and order,' as they had failed to qualify for a higher priesthood order; Moses did establish the Order of the Priesthood after the Order of Aaron, or the Aaronic Priesthood. That priesthood order was limited to only males of the family of Levi.

Then Jesus during his day established a 'church order' when he called and anointed his twelve apostles and later others as well such as 'seventies' and so forth. This was or is known as the Apostalic Order of the priesthood and was intended to continue on under the direction of the continuous rule of living Apostles and Prophets. Jesus placed and named Peter to be the ruling Apostle and Prophet of the early Christen Church. After Judas' death Matthias was chosen to take his place. Later other apostles were also called to maintain the 'quorum' of the apostles, such as Paul and even Barnabas.

Today many of the 'liberal' mind have taken it unto themselve to define God. And many have altogether chosen to deny God, changing their system of belief into being that of something else, which that spend their time and devotion to persuing. Intersting a number of these seem not to be able to leave Christianity and God alone. They exercise little or no tolerance towards God and those who believe in him. 'They' can have their 'active voice against God' heard and spread anywhere and everywhere, but they will not allow those who believe in God the same right and privilege. No longer do American have a right to Freedom of Religion in their eyes, and they proceed to do all they can to remove that right and freedom from the faith minded people, while fully exercising their athiestic position and life styles before the public at all times, and teaching publically that ther is no God, and propagating their own system of 'faithlessness' and pushing it upon all else.

On the other hand, in our enlightened age, no longer should a Church be able to establish a conception of God independent of the scriptures, at least to a well read and intelligent membership who do read and understand the scriptures themselves. Yet many Churches continue to prescibe what God is according to their innovations of what God is in contridiction to what is in the scriptures. And some Chruches today even follow after the mind set of their 'membership's wishes' and even follow the lead of their membership and bend and twist God into being what their memberships demand of Him to be, and that according to their false liberal creature desires of what they want their God to be like, and what they want their God to allow them to do. Such might as well make unto themselves molten images of their God. Certainly there are a lot of 'false Christs' being designed and worshiped as their God today.

Well was it stated by Joseph Smith when speaking of religious freedom in the LDS Church's 11th Article of Faith:

    "We claim the privilege of worshiping Almighty God according to the dictates of our own conscience, and allow all men the same privilege, let them worship how, where or what they may."

But the concept of allowing man their agency to chose good or evil themselves stops at heaven's gates, so to speak. That is, men do not define Heaven nor exactly what are God's requirements for entrance unto God's Heaven. Nor do man's personal conceptions of God define who or what God truthly is. They may believe what they want to believe, but that does not advance them toward God or God's Heaven unless what they have chosen to believe is what God has set it out to be. God is what and who he is despite of man. God's laws and Commandments given unto man are what they are, and they do not change either just to satisfy the whims of the wicked. Further Heaven is what it is and not what men have imagined or contrived it to be.

In short, it would be most wise for men to forget about themselves and what they personally prefer to think in respect to God, and begin to seek after God and what all God truly is. Jesus taught that we were to pray: "Our Father, Who Art in Heaven Hallowed Be Thy Name. Thy Kingdom Come, Thy Will Be Done, on Earth as it Is in Heaven." How is it in Heaven?

Adam, the first Patriarchal Father of Earth, left his home on high, was place into the Garden of Eden and by the hand of God was given Eve to be his wife. And thus Adam did leave his Father and Mother in Heaven. And he did cleave unto his wife. And the Patriarchal Order of Heaven was so first established on earth. From Adam, that Patriarchal Order of husband and wife did continue for many generations when men did live unto ages of over 900 years. Thus that Patriarchal Order established after the Patriarchal Order of Heaven lasted for nearly 2,000 years until Father Noah and his three sons built an ark because the world had become so wicked in rejection of God's Plan for man. And the earth was flooded, leaving again but one Patriarchal Head in Noah and his three sons.

Shem was the next great High Priest and Patriarchal leader after Noah, but then the Jewish kept Biblical record does not maintain the details of the Fatherly Patriarchal Order as such. And Abraham's father was not a righteous Patriarch of his family. But Abraham sought for those Patriarchal blessings of the fathers, and unto those Patriarchal blessing of the birthright, for by his descent he was an heir unto those blessings.

And God did establish Father Abraham as His righteous Patriarchal Father to carry on the Patriarchal Order on earth even as it was so designed to be in Heaven; even after that order by which Heaven itself was ordered. Isaac was the Patriarchal birthright firstborn son of Abraham recognized by God. And it was next unto Isaac that the Covenant of the Firstborn Birthright of the Patriarchal Fathers did rest.

From Isaac the Bible records that the Patriarchal leadership and Covenant blessings did come to rest upon Isaac's son Jacob. And this because Esau, the eldest son cared not for the righteous spiritual blessing of heaven and he sold his heavenly rights to his brother Jacob for a bowl of food because he was hungry.

As the Bible teaches in 1 Chronicals 5:1-2, the birthright fell to Jacob's son Joseph, he being to whom the birth right was. And in the place of Reuben, Jacob's eldest who had sinned against his father, Jacob adopted Joseph's son Ephraim. And thus the Patriarchal Order fell upon Joseph of Egypt and to the descendants of Ephraim to fulfill.

Joseph was the Last Great Patriarch of the Patriarchal Order on the earth as we hear very little of Ephraim successfull fulfilling that order those in his was carried the birthright. Joseph had lived up to his responsibility of fulling the duties of the Patriarchal Father of Israel for he had provied for all his family and brothers and gave unto them a life saving livelihood in the land of Goshen in the land of Egypt for a periods of some 400 years. Yet their life there turned into slavery when came a Pharoah in charge who failed to honor Father Joseph and the Israelite children of the family of Joseph. There are two other pages which present the greatness of Joseph of Egypt and the promised blessing of the Covenant as were held by this Last Great Patriarch. They are Joseph's Blessings and The Patriarchal Order of Joseph.

God's Eternal Round

And in conclusion, let it be said and understood that Heaven is a Family based society. It is by that Patriarchal Order of Heaven that the 'One Eternal Round' of the purpose, the word and the glory of God is perpetuated. And that work and glory of God is in bringing to past the immortally and eternal life of man (Moses 1:39). After perfection eternal progressive increase is to be accomplished in and of the perpetual order the the family. Even heaven and earth are bound by their ties of family to family to family. Father, Mother, Sister, Brother, throughout all eternity perpetually being extended from family to family, from world to world, to kingdom of heaven to kingdom of heaven, and from man and his family to his connection to God and His Family in Heaven.

Those who fight against the Godly Order of Sacred Marriage being between a man and a woman for the intent and design of the perpetuation of the family are actually fighting against and are at odds with the Godly Order of Heaven. Only through eternally bound family ties does one find a place in God's Celestial Heaven. Without those ties that bind man unto God, man is fated but into a lesser realm of existence for ever and ever eternally. To the wise, fight not the Heavenly Order of God, The Family. It is the Order of Heaven and the Order by which God, of Heavenly Father rules and reigns with his Heavenly Wife, our Heavenly Mother.

A Related Question

A related question would seem to be the states of existence during the Millennium, that is what is the work relative to the Kingdom of God going on both on earth and in the spirit world during the Millennial Reign of Jesus Christ? It has be told that the temples of the Lord will cover the earth and that the work therein for the living and the dead will be of a on going continuous nature. That is the work of providing all the opportunity of salvation will be going on continously both among the living on earth and as thus implied, for the dead of the spirit world as well. For why do the temple ordinances for those in the spirit world if there is not hope for them there?

A faithful member once spoke of a dream he had had concerning the resurrection. That is of the first resurrection. He said in his dream he saw that those who were reserrected did not come forth all at once, but as the waves of the sea, they came forth in groups, wave after wave upon wave. This would be consistent with the fact that the work for the dead does process until all the work is finish for both the living and the dead. That is until all have had their proper fair opportunity of receiving of the fulness of God during their propation, which obviously continues through life and death in the spirit world as well.

What is sad, is even after this extended opportunity, there will be many who will have continued to refuse to have received of the testimony of Christ unto repentance in order to even receive of the ordiances of salvation vicariously. Those will not be resurrected until the end of the 1,000 years of the Millennium when all will come to stand before the judgement bar of Christ and God and receive of their fair judgments unto such kingdoms that they will have earned and deserved—be it Celestial, Terrestrial, Telestial or even outer darkness and of the realm of Satan and his angels to dwell as a son of perdition.

Of course the Celestial quailifying work will be the sealings of all into families back unto Adam and from Adam to Christ and from Christ unto God, unto Whom Christ gives all glory. And that is the work of the ordering of the Patriarchal Order of Heaven of husband and wife, father and mother, brothers and sisters-children as it is in Heaven to even have come to be even on the Celestialized Earth. Thy Kingdom Come, Thy Will be done, On Earth, as it is in Heaven!
