aBOAST not thyself of to bmorrow; for thou knowest not what a day may bring forth.
Let another man apraise thee, and not thine own mouth; a stranger, and not thine own lips.
A stone is heavy, and the sand weighty; but a fool's awrath is heavier than them both.

The full soul loatheth an honeycomb; but to the hungry soul every bitter thing is sweet.
As a bird that wandereth from her nest, so is a man that wandereth from his place.
Ointment and perfume rejoice the heart: so doth the sweetness of a man's friend by hearty counsel.
Thine own afriend, and thy father's friend, forsake not; neither go into thy brother's house in the day of thy calamity: for better is a bneighbour that is near than a brother far off.
My son, be wise, and make my heart glad, that I may answer him that reproacheth me.
A prudent man foreseeth the evil, and hideth himselfa; but the simple pass on, and are punished.
a hideth himself One of the best ways to not get caught up in evil is to 'avoid' it in the first place. If you know the evil and you see it coming, if you are able 'get out of its way'. At times this would even take to 'hiding yourself from it'. If you see an unrulely 'gang' don't go up to it to incounter it first hand, go around it and avoid it and then you could avoid it entirely. Perhaps there is a fine line between 'confronting evil', that is to take a stand against it to over come it; and that line of just avoiding the situation. At times one does have to take a stand against evil to counter its spread and future impending dangers. At other times the trouble is best left alone and as often as not it will seek its own way and it is avoided. Wisdom it to know and understand the difference in which it the most prudent way to proceed. Certainly do not approach unto an evil that you are not prepared to overcome and perhaps defeat.  10a 2 Sam. 9:1
