Old Testament Commentary - Proverbs

prepared by Don R. Hender

Proverbs: Are statements of Wisdom put in summary form to easily recall them. It is thought that a number of authors are their souce with perhaps the primary one who seems to have received the credit for making them famous/popular being King Solomon the Wise. Regretably, it takes more than the learning of knowledge to benefit from them, it also takes 'doing' and 'living' that which you know to be true. Also: There is an unmistakable connection between one's degree of wisdom attainment in practice and one's growth in and benefit to Intelligence—that which is eternal and resides in all of us, that 'light of truth'.
