My Hender Cousins

 
    Perhaps the simplest way to brake this down is to appoach my Hender cousins by generations and devote a linked page per each generation of Aunt and Uncle cousin yielding families. Thus I will pass through the various known related Hender families beginning with my 7^th Great Grandfather's family of Thomas Hender and Agnes/Ann Evan(s) and so on down to perhaps my grandfather's family of Albert Hender and Laura Dibble Hender.

The family of my 7th Great Uncle Edward Hender who married Elizabeth Wadge, 2 June 1724, is the source of a great many related cousin families.

Now one caution must be given in respect to such 'cousin' derived ancestry. That is in attempting to 'fit' all things into one's genealogy many do make presumptions which will conflict with other's presumptons. One such is here in that the cousin family which one source would tie to the Family of Thomas and Elizabeth Northy though their daughter Elizabeth Hender who married John Venning is also attributed to a daughter of John Hender and Grace Luskey as will be seen also in the next family groupings of cousin derived from the John Hender and Grace Luskey family.

Though John Hender died early, the Luskey family willed much to this Hender family. Thomas Hender my ancestor would fall heir to much of the Hender Altarnun lands and William Hender his brother would be the ancestor to the William Hender and William Bury Hender of Callington, surgeons and doctors-MD.

The Altarnun lands of Hender fell to Thomas Hender who married Jenny Peter, but sums of money were left to the other family members and my ancestor apparently gained himself an aprenticeship and became a clock and watch maker.

There can now be identified seven children of William Hender and Elizabeth Rowe. They are Elizabeth Rowe Hender who died at age 4, Amelia Hender, Louisa Hender, a William Hender who died at age 1, my ancestor Thomas Rowe Hender, William Worth Hender and finally a John Hender who died at age 2. Some attempt to add a John Hender who lived and migrated to Australia but that John Hender is of St Cleer. Only the four living sons and daughter are mentioned in William Hender's will.

Cousin Families of Thomas Rowe Hender & Mariana (Mary) Trout

The children of Thomas Rowe Hender and Mary Trout are Philip Trout Hender named after Mary's father, William Hender named after Thomas' father, Harry Hender who died at age 2, and Ellen Hender. Both William Hender and Ellen Hender married Selina Toms and James Toms-relationship of the Toms is not yet found. Both had children and thus there of cousins from Thomas Rowe Hender and Mariana Trout.

The Collins family and their descendants from the children of Grace (Chipman Hender) Collins are the souce of any such cousins to be found of this family as Albert Hender was the only child of Philip Trout Hender and Grace Ghipman.

This is my grandparents family. They had to living children, my father and my aunt May. This link will give an insight to this family without hopely reveling too much for this day and age. I hope it does not offend anyone.
