Not to be forgotten is that the common people of Cornwall were grounded in the Celtic Tribes related to Wales, Scotland and even Ireland in their ancient national origins. Though 'English' is widely in Cornwall, there are and there ought to be those who do still speak and preserve their ancient native Cornish language of the Cymru. |

These are specific connections relative to my ancestry in Cornwall, England. From these pages, further references to complete family wills, historical documents, and further genealogical connections will be found. For example, the Hender of Altarnun connection continues to connect to the Welsh origins of the family and the Distinguished family of Hender which married into the Cornwalle family, not to mention the many Hender family wills.INTERNET CORNISH LINKSCornwal Internet MagazineNew Cornwall OPCs (Genealogy) Site OPC Cornwall Databases Searches Including Parish Records
