Welcome to My
North Carolina Home Page
Greetings, and welcome to
North Carolina the birth place of my
Mother and her ancestors here in America. If you have similar
interests in North Carolina, I hope you will stop by often. Granted, good
is as good does, so I am putting in a lot of effort to make your
stop worthwhile. Watch this site as it continues to develop, share any ideas you
may have with me by using the mail link at the bottom of this page.
North Carolina has a lack of Church and Civil records. Much of what I
have been able to put together is from Land and property records. As it seems
that Land deeds was one of the primary ways that property was pasted on from
one generation to the next in North Carolina. So for now, I have developed
the following references thus far:
These are specific connections relative to my ancestry in
North Carolina. My mother and her ancestors lived in North Carolina from
the early 1700s. They did not leave until my mother was older and they
moved to Virgina. Thus all my mother's side of the family originates from
North Carolina until back to when they would have arrived from Europe.
From these pages, further references to complete family wills,
historical
documents, and further genealogical connections will be found. For
example, the
Leary and Swanner families will have both wills and land deeds referenced.
A few connection continue to connect to England and from there to a few
Royal connections but those are but few as most lines stop end in North
Carolina so far.
